St. Stephen's Episcopal School, a day and boarding school of 688 students (grades 6-12), is seeking a Receptionist for a full-time position beginning June 2020. Regular work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:15 am - 4:45 pm.

Position responsibilities include:

  • Answer phone calls and redirect them to the correct office;
  • Greeting visitors to campus;
  • Recording accurate information in SIS program for attendance;
  • Operating office systems (postage machine, copier machine, switchboard, etc.);
  • Manage and distribute mail and packages;
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Engaging parents, volunteers and visitors in a manner that engenders confidence in the school and the administration office.

Qualified candidates will have the ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively and be organized, welcoming, helpful and friendly. Experience with Google tools is required. Experience with Blackbaud SIS and switchboard systems is preferred.

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand, sit, walk;
  • Reach above shoulder height;
  • Lift/carry up to 50 pounds;
  • Push/pull up to 50 pounds.
