Admission Office Operations Manager and Financial Aid Coordinator

St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas, a grades 6-12 day and boarding school of 710 students, is seeking a full-time Admission Office Operations Manager and Financial Aid Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Associate Head of School for Enrollment Management and Financial Aid;
  • Coordinate the financial aid process and serve as a financial aid committee member;
  • Coordinate event logistics for the Admission office with the Security, Maintenance, Facilities and Dining Hall departments;
  • Support Admission events as needed;
  • Greet visitors to the office, answer and direct phone calls, and create a welcoming environment for prospective students and their families;
  • Manage office inventory of marketing materials, office and kitchen supplies;
  • Manage the Admission office budget and process departmental expense reports;
  • Other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in database and/or budget management;
  • At least two years of experience in administrative work including office management, answering phones, managing budgets, event support, and calendar management.
  • Familiarity with database management software and experience creating complex database filters and searches (using any database platform), and importing and exporting data using the CSV file format;
  • Proficiency using Gmail, G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides and sharing), Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse populations;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
